BEHAVIOUR ANALYST

OPTIONS
northwest Personal Support Services is a community-based, non-profit,
charitable organization which provides personal, clinical and residential
supports to persons who, because of a developmental challenge, physical
disability or chronic behaviour or mental health
problem, require support to reach their fullest potential and to remain within
their community.
As a member
of a multidisciplinary Community Resource Team, the Behaviour
Analyst will provide specialized community support services, conduct interviews
and assessments, and assist with the development of action plans for persons
with developmental disabilities and dual diagnosis. In addition, the Behaviour
Analyst will develop and implement training and provide education to families and
support staff in
The ideal
candidate will hold a diploma in Behavioural Science Technology and/or a Behaviour Analyst certification. Alternate completed post secondary education
in Human Services with experience working in the developmental services field will
be given consideration. Experience in developing behavioural analysis, functional
assessments, and intervention programs/plans for individuals with a developmental
disability/dual diagnosis who exhibit challenging behaviour
is preferred. Excellent
interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, problem solving
abilities and analytical skills are a necessity. Computer skills and a working knowledge of MS
Office are required. A valid driver's
license and use of a personal vehicle is required.
