  1. Did you know Sensory friendly nights at Safeway are happening every Thursday evenings!?
    • Where: ALL Thunder Bay locations
    • When: 6:00 to 8:00 PM

Autism Ontario Thunder Bay is on site once a month (rotating locations) to support sensory friendly nights and provide you with any information regarding this event!

 

  1. Science North Thunder Bay has put together a special social learning opportunity for local families with autism. The platform they will be using is EV3 Robotics. This program is for children 10 to 15 years of age.

A parent/caregiver is required to stay for the program. Mary Chang, their Science North representative will set up another room for parents with coffee and seating if they would like to be in a separate room, for some of the time. In order to register, you MUST send an email to autismontario@gmail.com as there is no official registration link. The following information MUST be communicated:

Name of child - first and last, as well as name of parent/caregiver completing the email reply. They also require age and contact information (email and phone number). If there is any other information you would like to communicate about your child, please do so.

This opportunity with Science North Thunder Bay will run the following SIX dates:

Saturdays; February 1st, 8th & 15th, March 7th, 14th & 28th. Please note ALL dates - check your calendar!

From 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

The program will be held in the Science North Office (Room 3), which is upstairs at the Boys & Girls Club on Windsor Street.
